Canine Osteopathy in Lewes
Mandy Fischer
As a manual therapy, osteopathy can be effective in the treatment of a range of musculoskeletal conditions in dogs, as well as humans. These might include:
Lameness or limping – maybe an altered gait resulting from a stiff or perhaps arthritic joint
Following an accident or trauma
Repetitive strain injuries, perhaps due to jumping in and out of the car or on and off the sofa
Following a competition, for example agility, working or racing dogs
Breed weaknesses, for example Labradors are prone to elbow and hip problems, dachshunds to back pain
Behaviour changes in relation to pain, possible reluctance to walk, or greet you as normal
Stiffness and decreased mobility associated with getting older
Mandy Fischer is able to offer treatment to canines at your own home, in the Lewes, Uckfield and Crowborough area.
