About Rick Mudie

Rick is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), with more than 20 years’ clinical experience

He is a Course Co-coordinator, Lecturer and Clinical Supervisor at the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM).

He has a BSc degree in Social Sciences from Edinburgh University and a BSc (Hons) degree in Oriental Medicine from Brighton University. He trained at ICOM and practices five-element ‘Stems and Branches’ traditional acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture.

Rick has actively studied Chinese philosophy, Taiji, Qi Gong and meditation since 1994, acupuncture since 2000 and classical Chinese since 2018. He uses acupuncture to treat a wide variety of physical, mental and emotional issues, and currently has clinics in Uckfield and Lewes, East Sussex.
